SSC CHSL recruitment 2022: SSC CHSL (Combined Higher Secondary Level Examination) is conducted on the national level by Staff Selection Commission every year to recruit: Lower Division Clerk (LDC), Data Entry Operator (DEO), Postal Assistant/Sorting Assistant & Court Clerk, for various government organizations.

SSC CHSL Eligibility Criteria:
The candidate must be a permanent citizen of India. Further criteria are as:

The minimum age should be18 years and the maximum age should be 27 years.
Special relaxation is provided to people from different categories.
SSC CHSL Educational Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications is 10+2 or equivalent exam from a recognised board.
For the role of DEO
Candidate must have passed 10+2 in science stream with mathematics as main subject from a recognised board or university.
SSC CHSL Tier 1 Exam Pattern
There will be online test consisting of 4 sections with objective questions. The question paper will be set in both English and Hindi except for English section.

SSC CHSL Tier 2 Exam Pattern
SSC CHSL Tier 2 requires you to answer two descriptive type questions. One has to write an essay of 200 to 250 words and an application or letter of 150 to 200 words.

SSC CHSL Tier 3 Exam Pattern ( Typing Test)
SSC CHSL Tier 3 will test your practical skills like typing speed. For the post of Data Entry Operator one needs to have a minimum typing speed of 8000 depression cases per hour.
For highly skilled Data Entry Operators who are often required by the controller and auditor general, the typing speed should be 15000 per year.
The minimum typing speed for Sorting Assistant or Postal Assistant should be 35 words per minute for English and 30 words per minute for Hindi.
